Artificial Narrative Film

CONCEPT PROPOSAL

I.                   Title

    “The Little Boy Story”

II.                Introduction

      The life of Filipinos is so dramatic yet so colorful in a sense that after that hardship we are able to smile. This story of a little boy will prove that characteristics that he having a broken family later abandon him when he was still baby is blessed with a new loving family.

       On the first clip the character will be surprising the audience upon asking his name to them. Sounds weird but it is the strategy I used to get the human inertest of the audience, to easily pass through the wall they have and catch merely their attention if possible.

        As a continuation, the audience will now keep on thinking…so the character will invite them to watch or know his story instead to guess who he is. Then the flow of the story begins.

         In the end the attachment of the character will still persist and will greet them with a smile. This will only implies that his circulation of life doesn’t ends with those family failures but only begins with the new family who will treat him as a blessing.

        III.    Running Time

                           This is a 1minute narrative film

         This is preferred to view by anyone, not required if he experiences the same thing but simply to understand the meaning of the story.

         V     Format/Genre

                           This is a light drama and will be delivering through an animation style in a         

                 video  format.

           VI. Concept Objectives

·         To have attachment with the audience

·         To bring them life must go on and smile after all hard works/sufferings

·         To give them a positive outlook in life

·         To say every person that gone has a substitute to fill that emptiness.

            VII Key Message

                      Don’t look at life as if everything is a burden because there always a reason behind      

                  it or why it is happening or meant to happen.

NARRATIVE SCRIPT

Sequence Treatment 1: INT.NO SPECIFIC PLACE JUST IN A WHITE BACKGROUND PLACE.NOPARTICULAR TIME.AN ANIMATED LITTLE BOY CHARACTER IS ASKING HIS NAME TO THE AUDIENCE AND INVITE THEM TO WATCH HIS STORY INSTEAD.

Sequence Treatment 2: EXT.ARTIFICIAL SCREEN FOR THEATER PERFRMANCE. NO PARTICULAR TIME. AN ARTIFICIAL SCREEN IS LITTLE BY LITTLE OPENING.

Sequence Treatment 3: EXT.PLAYGROUND/WHITE BACKGROUND.MORNING.THE PART OF FAMILY IS BENG INTRODUCE ONE BY ONE UP TO HIM.

Sequence Treatment 4: NONE.NONE.NONE.FEATURING A TWO JOINED HEART LATER HAD A CRACKED AND DIVIDED, SYMBOLIZING THE SIGN OF SEPARATION THAT WOULD HAPPEN.

Sequence Treatment 5: INT.EXT.HOUSE/WHITE BACKGROUND.AFTERNOON. HIS FAMILY BROKE UP ANG GOT SEPARATED FEATURING A ZIGZAG CRACK OR WALL SEPARATING THE FAMILY.

Sequence Treatment 6: EXT/INT.HOUSE.AFTERNOON. THE BABY (HE) WAS LEFT ALONE OR ABANDON FEATUIRING A QUESTION MARK AND WRIITEN CRIES.

Sequence Treatment 7: EXT. NATURE.NO PARTICULAR TIME JUST AFTER THE INCIDENT.  THIS IS FEATURING A TREE IN A RAINY DAY LATER STOP AS A SIGN OF NEW CHAPTER OF HIS LIFE.

Sequence Treatment 8: INT.HOUSE. MORNING.A WOMAN HOLDING THE BAY AND GAVE HIM A NAME. SHE TREATED IT AS HER OWN AND GAVE “ANGELO “AS HIS NAME.

Sequence Treatment 9: EXT.NATURE.NO PARTICULAR TIME.  THIS IS FEATURING A TREE WITH ITS FALLING LEAVES AND CLOUDS MOVING SYMBOLIZING THE YEARS THAT PASSED.

Sequence Treatment 10: INT. NO SPECIFIC PLACE JUST PRESENTING IN A WHITE

 BACKGROUND.NO PARICULAR TIME. THE BABY NOW A LIITLE BOY ENDS HIS STORY ANGD AT LAST INTRODUCES HIS NAME.
