MOA Signing-MITPID Extension Program
Last Sept. 5, 2012 a Memorandum of
Agreement Signing was conducted in the MSC Audio Visual Room about Media
Info-Techno Dissemination Program (MITPID) between Marinduque Academy,
Municipality of Sta. Cruz and the college.
This
extension program was initiated by the faculty members and Dean Dr. Julieta L.
Go of School of Arts and Sciences to promote a continuous service to the
community. One of its projects is SAS -Journalismo Training, a Docu-Info
Dissemination Project aimed at training its clienteles/beneficiaries in
disseminating information via print media-newsletter/newspaper.
The
SAS Journalismo Training is composed of three (3) Training Modules namely Basic
News writing, Basic Photography and Newspaper/Newsletter Layouting.
These
trainings will be offered separately to the target clienteles of this program
.Each module requires 48 hours training.
The
college specifically the family of SAS aims to develop journalistic writing
skills of the trainee/beneficiaries through individual instruction sessions
with the mentors.
The
said community development activity will be taking part with AB-English and
AB-Communication students in collaboration with the MSC.
